SF weekend--My grandmother's Baptism! :-)

We flew down to SF for the weekend because my father's mother (I call her Po Po)decided to get baptized! She started attending church when my grandfather (who passed away 3 weeks before Maddie was born) was battling with his cancer. We didn't know then, but she was faithfully walking every Sabbath to a Chinese SDA church! (what were the odds that when she decided to go to a church...and it didn't matter to her at the time WHAT church, just any church....that within WALKING distance from her home, there would be a Chinese-speaking SDA church! God sure works in mysterious ways, doesn't He?) Anyway, it was absolutely wonderful to be present at her baptism. She is a phenomenal woman, and I really miss being able to see her more often. We are SO proud of how she's done since my grandfather passed away, and it was incredible watching her be with Maddie these past few days. (Obviously from the pics, my parents, my 2nd mom Aunty Jennifer, my brother and his FIANCEE Crystal...yes, I wrote FIANCEE...came up for the weekend as well! We had a blast going to the recently opened Academy of Arts and Science Aquarium, ate tons of delicious food, and hung out as much as we could in our short time together..)
(A huge thanks to my Aunt Julia and Uncle Peter for being our airport cheuffer...for all their generosity and for helping my grandmother get her house set up so that Maddie would be comfortable...) :-)
